14 Girls Rescued from Sexual Exploitation
Fourteen girls in South Asia are now safe in our Residential Care home.
The survivors are between 13 and 17 years old. All were affected by crippling poverty, forcing either them or someone close to them into sex exploitation to survive. Out of this group, eight of the children were at dire risk of abuse because a mother or other family member was participating in sex work. The other six girls were already selling themselves to survive.
Our team is now gently helping the children move past the trauma they’ve endured. Later, they’ll equip the girls with skills and vocational training so that they never have to face exploitation again.

Most of those rescued had been forced to sell their bodies just to survive. Others were rescued from sex crimes or being sexually exploited by a human trafficker for money. The youngest was only 9 years old, and three of the survivors were boys. All of the survivors have been enrolled in our Community Care Program, where they’ll learn to maneuver through the trauma they endured and be equipped to live free.
