Border agents rescue 43 at the Nepal border
43 people, over half of them children, were rescued at the border of Nepal from a life of exploitation. Traffickers lured their victims to the border with false promises of marriage or a promising new job.
Fortunately, our brave all-female team of agents saw through the lies and stopped them before it was too late. All the survivors were reunited with their families.

Traffickers had been sexually exploiting the victims, including a few boys and young men, in a tourist area of the Philippines. Aside from providing an in-depth investigation, our agents helped law enforcement by supplying undercover work, surveillance, victim interviews, and operational manpower.
The survivors have all been returned home, and the trafficker was arrested.
