43 rescued at the Nepal border

Border agents rescued 43 people from traffickers attempting to lure them out of the country.

Seventeen of those rescued were children. Because of a social stigma in the region about those who are deceived by traffickers, most of those we rescue at the border choose not to press charges.

But in this group, one brave young woman decided to take police action against the man who trafficked her. That decision will keep a dangerous criminal from victimizing others.
