16 girls have stepped into freedom in South Asia
Three entered our residential home and 13 enrolled in our community care program.
Most of the children, ages 13 to 17, face extreme poverty and were selling themselves so they could afford basic necessities like food and shelter.
The children have already attended Empower, our trauma rehabilitation program, to begin their healing journeys. Survivors and their families will receive monthly food packs and work with a caseworker on an economic empowerment plan that will help meet their needs.

Most of those rescued had been forced to sell their bodies just to survive. Others were rescued from sex crimes or being sexually exploited by a human trafficker for money. The youngest was only 9 years old, and three of the survivors were boys. All of the survivors have been enrolled in our Community Care Program, where they’ll learn to maneuver through the trauma they endured and be equipped to live free.
