42 girls rescued and on paths to freedom

Forty-two girls, ages 15 to 17, have enrolled in our community care program in an undisclosed country after we rescued them.

Most survivors were selling themselves to contribute to their family income or support their personal needs. Nine of the children were the main breadwinners for their families.

We will distribute food packs monthly to survivors and their families as a part of our program. The food helps alleviate the financial pressure that initially drove them into exploitation.

In addition to food packs, the children will receive monthly health checks, access to vocational training, such as tailoring classes, and assistance from a caseworker as they follow their freedom plan.

6 Former Victims Begin New Lives

Five children and one 18-year-old were rescued from sex trafficking in Cambodia.

The youngest victim was 15 years old. All the survivors have begun their new lives by enrolling in Freedom Plans.

23 Children Rescued from Sex Trafficking

Twenty-three girls in South Asia are now free from sexual exploitation.

All the girls were between 14 and 17 years old and have taken their first steps in their new lives by enrolling in Freedom Plans to guide their futures. More on those plans here.

4 Children Rescued From Forced Labor Exploitation

Four girls have been rescued from labor trafficking in Cambodia.

The four girls were between 9 and 12 years old. The kids were subjected to long hours, working in harsh conditions in a brick factory until our undercover agents discovered them. Now, they are enrolled in Freedom Plans to move forward in life and begin recovering from the trauma they endured.

39 People Rescued Throughout Asia

Thirty-nine people were rescued from various types of trafficking across Asia.

Our agents have been busy! In one nation, nine men and women were rescued from international labor trafficking. In Thailand, we worked with law enforcement to rescue eight women and children from sex exploitation. And in Nepal, another 27 people, two-thirds of them children, were rescued by our stalwart border agents. Join us in celebrating their freedom!
