This is an adventure like no other. Imagine cruising through the beautiful countryside of Northern Thailand, nudging into Myanmar, the hum of the bike in your ears as you wind through mountains and past rice fields, each kilometre blazing a trail for the liberation of children trapped in sexual exploitation. From Chiang Rai to Phayao, and Chiang Mai to Pai, your journey will be filled with excitement, adventure, exotic tastes, sights and smells, and the knowledge that you are making difference in the lives of the most vulnerable.

Each rider must come committed to raising $1 per kilometre traveled (in addition to trip cost), pledged from their community back home. This $1500 will secure the rescue of one child from sexual exploitation.

Trip cost includes international return flights to Bangkok, domestic flights to Chiang Rai, accommodation, all meals, all non-alcoholic drinks, zip-lining in Chiang Mai, water cavern trip in Pai, one Myanmar border crossing and use of a Yamaha 135cc motorbike and fuel.
Does not include insurance, alcoholic drinks, personal shopping, massages (about $10 each and much-needed after a day of riding!).

Day One – International travel to Bangkok and shuttle to hotel
Day Two- Fly to Chiang Rai. Visit rescue property and meet children in Learning Centre and jewellery production. Opportunity to purchase handmade jewellery. Dinner and ride briefing
Day Three – Big breakfast. Ride 280km, 6.5 hours east towards Laos and into the mountains. Arrive at Bo Kluea accommodation and relax over a few drinks
Day Four – Ride 220km west across the ranges to Phayao. Check in to lake-front hotel and wood-fired pizza for dinner at The Brick Oven
Day Five – Another 220km to Chiang Mai. Lots of twists and turns through stunning countryside. Final 30mins will be navigating the bustling streets of Chiang Mai
Day Six – Free day to explore Chiang Mai. Go zip-lining through the rainforest or simply explore all the city has to offer. Traditional team dinner at Miguel’s Mexican restaurant
Day Seven – Ride to Pai. 722 corners. Need we say more?
Day Eight – Free day in Pai. A traditional bamboo raft journey down the river and through water caverns is planned. Bring your camera!
Day Nine – Early breakfast then travel back through the 722 corners to Chiang Dao. Visit thermal pools and a local village, home of our trusted interpreter and mechanic Weera. A great opportunity to see how people have lived for centuries
Day Ten – Ride back to Chiang Rai along Thailand’s western border with Myanmar. Check in at hotel then dinner at Destiny Cafe and shopping at Night Bazaar
Day Eleven – Day trip to Myanmar, crossing at Mae Sai. Visit the bustling marketplace and the Monkey Temple before returning to Chiang Rai
Day Twelve – Morning boat ride up the river to the elephant village. A much slower journey around the village on elephants before heading back to Chiang Rai for final team lunch. Flights back to Bangkok and then individual international destinations
